At the end of Lux’s program in each school, docents administer evaluation forms to the participating teachers to receive feedback and suggestions for the following year. The response to these questionnaires expressed praise for the Valise Project. Below are some excerpts from teacher evaluations at El Camino Creek Elementary School in Encinitas, CA.
Do you feel the majority of your students learn something from our program?
YES! “I saw the creative use of materials in other projects (i.e. Mother’s Day cards) and the positive feelings that all students could do the projects”
YES! “Presentation and participation were wonderful. This means students are learning!”
Do you see any changes in behavior of individual students during our classes?
