Students will participate in a wide-ranging discussion of United States society, using the eleven bronze sculptures as conversation pieces. The presentation touches on elements of history (from Native Americans to pioneers), culture (baseball and television) and economics (capitalism and success). The concept of symbols will be introduced as students find meaning in each object.
